We went out before zohor and solat at the mosque before heading to the wedding of the day. After the wedding (in Sungai Buloh) hubby wanted to change the car tyre so we ended up in the tyre shop.
Then we went to KL for KL Vintage Festival 2017, in Kilang Paku. For dinner we went to Hot Pot King in Kota Damansara for a buffet steamboat.

Idlan Shafy's school project for raya..
Dia buat kad raya and ada message for mummy and daddy dalam tu.. Walaupun dia tulis umi & abah dalam tu...
Mesti copy paste terus from blackboard ni...
Hehehe.. But we still congratulate him on a good job...
Sampul surat yang di decorate
Dia sepatutnya pos kad ni ke rumah.. But sebab sampulnya terlalu kecil tak boleh masuk.. And juga sebab dia terlupa mana dia letak address rumah yang nad dah bagi pagi selepas sahur... So dia tak dapat nak pos kad ni... But I will poskan untuk dia.. Just untuk dia tahu macam mana pos berfungsi...
But before that we need a bigger envelope... ;D

This is my 2nd post for today...
Tadi post tentang "Kenapa Idlan Shafy Menangis Di Sekolah" (Klik sini untuk baca)
Kali ni tentang Idlan Shafy punya Projek sekolah...
Dah 2 minggu bersekolah masa berpuasa..
Dia ada buat a few things in school...
Macam sampul duit raya, kad raya, sampul kad raya..
Sebelum ni takde plak cikgu dia suruh bawa apa2...
Tapi kali ni ada a few list of barang yang dia kena bawa tuk projek kali ni...
sampul surat not sempal surat..mummy pun pelik bila baca..
Dia kena bawa setem pos, sampul surat, kertas warna dan alamat penuh rumah...
Rasanya their teachers nak ajar cara bagaimana nak pos surat or kad raya..
Sekarang ni e-card is overrated...
Semuanya online..
Semuanya internet...
Sampai budak2 sekarang tak tau or maybe tak pernah dengar langsung tentang pos surat or kad melalui posmen...
Bagus juga cikgu diaorang nak ajar budak2 ni tentang pos konventional...
At least ada juga pengalaman pos and terima surat walaupun dari diri sendiri...
Masa bawa Idlan Shafy bagitau tentang barang2 untuk projek ni dia macam excited je..
Lepas tu mula la tanya tentang how postman and mail box work..
Nad terangkan yang setem diperlukan untuk hantar surat...
Kira macam bayaran untuk posmen hantar surat tu..
Bila kita ada setem maksudnya kita dah bayar and surat akan dihantar...
Nad terangkan yang lepas tulis surat atau kad, masukkan dalam sampul surat..
Tulis alamat atas sampul surat and lekatkan setem..
Then masukkan dalam post box dekat pos office..
And wait for a few days for the mail to come to your house..
Surat akan dimasukkan ke dalam mail box dekat rumah oleh posmen..
Build In Mail Box
Then Idlan Shafy tanya "Where is our mail box? Or nenda's mail box? Because I didn't see any red box with a pole outside our house or nenda's house?"
Hehe..
Ni mesti TV punya style mail box...
Selalu kalau dalam cartoon or movies, mail box diaorang mesti warna merah kat luar rumah..
Bila Idlan Shafy tak nampak dia hairan la...
So kena la terangkan tak semua mail box macam tu..
Ada yang macam box banyak2 yang ada no setiap satu kalau kat rumah flat, apartment or condo just like our house...
Kalau rumah landed plak like nenda house plak tak semestinya red mail box dengan kayu tercacak depan rumah..
Ada yang tergantung di pintu pagar or dibina terus dalam batu dinding dekat pagar (build in mail box)..
So masa dalam kereta tu kami tunjuk la contoh2 mail box yang kami nampak bila lalu kat kawasan perumahan...
Alhamdullilah la at least dia faham la sikit tentang apa dia akan belajar nanti..
Risau plak kalau dia tak tau langsung..
At least ada a little bit of knowledge about it...
Happy dengan setem dia
Sebab hari ni hari jumaat and takut esok tak buka pos office, kami bercadang tuk ke pos office hari ni juga..
Just tuk beli setem je...
Rupanya sekarang nak hantar satu surat biasa 60sen harganya..
Nad belikan Idlan Shafy 2 keping setem..
Saja beli lebih..
He seems happy with it...
Agaknya sebab 1st time tengok setem...
Hahaha...
Nad terangkan juga tak semua setem gambar sama..
Ada bermacam jenis gambar dan ada juga setem yang boleh ditempah untuk letak gambar sendiri...
Tapi harga mahal la...
So hope after this Idlan Shafy akan lagi faham tentang pos secara traditional ni...
Buat nad teringat masa dulu2..
Masa puasa sibuk pilih kad raya kat kedai..
Kad raya plak dulu banyak jenis..
Suka beli yang jenis kartun2..
Pastu tulis2 pantun..
Contoh "Pecah Kaca Pecah Gelas, Sudah Baca Harap Balas"
Pastu pos kat kawan2..
Lama sangat dah tinggalkan zaman tulis2 surat or kad raya ni...
Rindu plak rasa...
Hehehe...
Sekarang ni orang tak pos dah kad raya or surat..
Semuanya email or e-card..
Semuanya guna komputer..
Takde our our signature or our own handwriting on the card...
Memang rindu zaman dulu2...
The kids nowdays tak akan faham the fun of dapat surat or kad raya..
But nad harap Idlan Shafy will get that this is the way surat/kad dihantar masa dulu..
Bukannya melalui komputer..
At least dia akan ada pengalaman hantar and terima surat..
